Get your tickets for Health Awards

Tickets are on sale for Te Tohu Rangatira Whanganui District Health Quality Awards, which will be held on Friday 6 September at the Whanganui Racecourse.

The awards night will celebrate initiatives and people across the Whanganui rohe who have demonstrated success, excellence and innovation in hauora and wellbeing.

Almost 70 awards entries were received from community organisations and the Whanganui District Health Board. The winners were selected by a judging panel from the Whanganui health and disability sector.

Piri Cribb (descendent of the lakes of Kahumatamomoe and the banks of the Whanganui River), business analyst for Ministry of Justice Maori Whenua Programme and former radio announcer, will MC the awards.

During the evening a series of short video interviews showcasing passionate people in the health sector, hosted by local social media stars The Bromigoes, will be shown.

Tickets are $25 each from Community House (60 Ridgway Street, Whanganui) or from the Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality at the Whanganui Hospital (cash only). The ticket price includes a buffet dinner and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are limited.

The organising team thanks gold sponsor Jackson Stone & Partners and silver sponsors Air Wanganui – Whanganui’s Air Ambulance Service and Amtech Medical.
