Get those Health Awards entries in - closing date 26 July

16 July 2019

If you or someone you know works in health and wellbeing in the Whanganui region, please encourage them to enter the Whanganui District Health Quality Awards Te Tohu Rangatira 2019.

The awards are open for everyone in the health sector doing good work in the community, including non-clinical staff and volunteers.

Entries close on Friday 26 July.

DHB chief executive Russell Simpson is keen to see as many people as possible put their hands up.

“Every day I see and hear stories from our community about successes within our health services. It is important to reflect on the great work happening across the Whanganui region and I invite you to enter or nominate an individual or team who deserves acknowledgement.”

There are 10 categories of awards with the winners being unveiled on 6 September at a gala evening at Whanganui racecourse’s Eulogy Lounge.

The awards organisers thank Whanganui’s Air Ambulance Service for putting their hand up to sponsor the awards. Other sponsorship opportunities are available by emailing
